Implied: jumping, knockback, and unrealistic ability to shrug off explosions.

Note however that certain games allow rocket "jumping" even when the game has no jump functionality of any kind, commonly sending the jumper flying laterally at high speed.

The first Rocket jumping video game was released on November 21, 1991.

Valve, Midway Games and Nintendo published most of these games.
