Self-correcting reality

Other (objects, etc.) concept

Reality, time, etc. doesn't like being tampered with and thus tries to correct itself or sends its minions to do this if it can't do it on its own.

Often involves some supernatural beings coming into existence and hunting down and destroying the causes for the changes.

None of this requires that "reality" is a conscious entity even if it "sends" those fixer minions (consider white blood cells in your own body, does their operation require conscious thought?), only that it is more complex than what one would think it is. May imply existence of super-reality (a reality that our reality exists in).
