The shockwave of explosions is not the only danger they pose.

Generally speaking explosions cause small (and even large) chunks of something (possibly pieces of the explosive device itself) to fly out at lethal speeds, commonly much farther than the base explosive shockwave reaches.

Cases where player sees such flying about but not causing any damage do not count.
