Player character's maximum health never increases permanently (short-lived boosts are allowed).
This is primarily meant for RPGs or other game genres where it's the norm for character maximum health to increase. Regardless of method (level up, attribute changes, items, magic, etc.)
Note that this does not count ability to avoid damage increasing, such as statistical dodge, damage soak or resistances.
