A behaviour meant to scare away any potential adversaries, usually accomplished by making oneself look larger, baring teeth, brandishing weapons (if any), and making threatening noises. Done as a warning to which player may react appropriately.

Notable people involved: Michael Hoge, Stefan Nyul, Markus Kark, Kai Rosenkranz and Torsten Dinkheller

Not for cases where they warn of incoming attack in such manner, only for potential of it if the player (or any other character) does not back off.

Also for guards doing their job and similar instances where characters warn another that they should get away and only attack if this is not complied with in timely manner.
