This is a cheap way of producing multiple endings.
Effectively a listing of important things with resolution integrated into the ending. Like, instead of showing "Saved the groom: No" and other such "achievements", you get a longer description of not saving the groom, possibly some reason for it, what happened to them after it and so forth. This repeated for multiple objectives for which the outcome is not absolutely necessary for the core story, but affect how the ending actually plays out.
