Uses a subset of the Win32 API that allows it to be run in 16 bit O/S, such as Win3.1.

The first video game about Win32s was released on September 10, 1995.

Win32s allows 32bit applications to run in 16bit operating system (such as Win3.1), but only using a small subset of the whole Win32 API introduced in Windows NT 3.1. This, however, requires installation of the Win32s support libraries on the 16bit O/S.

Games marked with this should be considered to be Win95 games and the platform set as such. And no alternative versions for Win3.1 unless there are other good reasons to have them.
