This is more likely a technical limitation or voluntarily omitted feature than actual censorship. The effect is the same, however.
Despite this being considered censorship, this actually gives the impression that it's OK to shoot, punch, stab, etc. people since: "hey! they seem unhurt" (right?).
This tag exists separately of bloodless since wounds can occur without blood, e.g. burns or such. Also to distinguish instances where there IS blood (e.g. splatter), but the characters seem unharmed otherwise.
Use note: Since majority of games currently do NOT depict wounds, it is better to use this only in cases where one could assume otherwise.
