The game world wraps around itself, going in any direction will bring you back to the starting location eventually.

Alternate names: Wraparound, Warping world

Unlike spheroid worlds, the wrapping game worlds are usually 2D (flat) or presented from distance or angle that only provides players view of it in such manner.

The wrapping may be limited to two side: left and right edge in 2D side-scrollers are common, though this may also appear in top-down games too.
