About Heroes of Jin Yong

Where was this released as "Legend" and in what language? I'm pretty sure it isn't Chinese like the original title if this really was released under such title.

Actually, "Legend" seems to be an alternative name for the original Chinese version. In my copy of the game the executable is named "LEGENDX.EXE"
It also seems (at least as of 2007) that the game has an active modding community, creating graphical modifications of the game, from both Chinese and English communities. I do not know if there's an English translation of the game, though.

From what I could gather of the story, the game is about a guy who is somehow transported into the world of the Jin Yong novels and has to find 14 Celestial Books (named after Jin Yong's novels) to get back. The game apparently follows the books stories in terms of NPC location and quests.

Then I shall assume it's a fan translation until proof is found to point otherwise. And thanks for the bit about the story, difficult to tag games you know nothing of :)

Actually its far too easy :) But it works for now.

Unfortunately only for things that are shown in screenshots, anything else, like story, is impossible since you have nothing to draw the conclusion from.
