Hang-On was one of the Master Systems launch titles and it immediately showed that Sega's console could challenge the NES technically. The game is colorful, fluent with decent controls. Released in 1985 there was no other better looking home console racing game. But ultimately the game lacks in variety. Some changes in background graphics is all you will get. There are no features that would keep someone playing after some tries nowadays.
