The most interesting cases are when you have 3 or more options, just having upright and crouch not so much.
Examples:
* Upright / standing
* Hunched
* Crouched
* Low crouch
* Crawl (on hands and knees)
* Creep / prone (crawl with abdomen close to or touching the ground)
Most games are limited to upright and crouch and tactical shooters usually add only creep to the list. Top-down games usually have only upright.
