Named shokutaku instead of D because one letter tags are not permitted. See UVL Technical Limitation

Dの食卓 means "D's Dinner Table" Which is meant for the player to specifically not understand untill late in the late when the player is to supposed to make a horrific realization. GameFan magazine mistranslated the title and called it D's Diner and the name stuck here in the USA.

Enemy Zero is a game in the D series staring the exact same Laura Harris

Kenji Eno hand delivered replicas of the main gun use in Enemy Zero to 20 contest winners around the world.
