Go out to the old ballgame in MLB 99. Players can choose from modes like Quick play, Playoffs, Season, Spring Training, and Home Run Derby. The Spring Training mode allows you to create and develop your own player, who must prove himself in a short minor league stint. If he's good enough, hell be called up to the Bigs, but a lackluster performance will result in a trip back to the minors. Youcan also take on friend in the Versus mode to see who really is the king of the diamond.
