The MS-DOS port of Eamon is called "Eamon Deluxe" or EDX for short. The adventures were all ported separately and made available through various BBS, shareware outlets, the Eamon Adventure's Guild, or other sources. But there were also 'official EDX packages' containing 3 to 21 adventures each. EDX games are not numbered the same as the Apple ][ Eamon games were; they are numbered by the package the come in. Additionally, there are original EDX games that are not available on the Apple ][ platform.
The Beginners Cave adventure was also available in the EDX#1 Beginner's Adventures package.
