Canyon Battle

You are the pilot of a small biplane, and the sole remaining defender of the little mountain kingdom of Asdel against the invading robot tyranny of Xar.
An armada of Xarian attack craft, fighter bombers, and missile boats is approaching up the narrow gorge of the river that is the only way to reach Asdel.
Your biplane is fitted with a single microshell cannon.
Trapped between the steep, jagged walls of the canyon, the slow moving Xarian craft will be like sitting ducks provided you can react fast enough!
There are 24 canyons.
Your aim is to pass successfully through all 24, and shoot down at least two out of every three Xarians you meet.
