Personal review

"Famicom Grand Prix F1 Race" is a rather unknown Nintendo overhead racing game. You must work/drive you way up through four different leagues, always trying to earn money with good results in order to be able to buy better cars. The cars have differnt kind of speed, body and tire values and there are even special cars for wet tracks. This makes the game at least a bit interesting. The gameplay and controls are not very good. I think tire wear was too fast and you had to make a pit stop every two rounds. And I always have a problem with the limited visibility with top-down racers. For 1987 standards it is ok, but I personally lost interest after a couple of races.
