[27]***We all know the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, however, not many roads allow you to put this principle into practice. For those of you frustrated by this seemingly illogical fact of life, Sega happily introduces Crazy Taxi, a game where the definition of "road" no longer specifically applies just to those surfaces covered by asphalt and concrete. "The object of Crazy Taxi is to get your passenger to his or her destination as quickly as possible," explained Sega’s Director of Sales & Marketing Pete Gustafson. "To do so, you might find you’ll have to bend a few rules of the road." "Bend" might be a bit of an understatement unless of course you find driving through parks, beaches, and malls a normal part of your commute home.

Crazy Taxi’s game play will remind many players of Sega’s smash-hit [game=#161333]Harley Davidson and the L.A. Riders[/game]. Like Harley, game play takes place in a virtual city, this one modeled after San Francisco. Players pick up one of over two hundred-fifty passengers located throughout the city and as quickly as possible, deliver them to their destination. The game will "suggest" a route but like Harley, if you think you know a better way to go, (like through a park or mall) go for it! Players get "tips" from their passengers by passing cars and not hitting them. They can earn extra time both by taking the shortest possible route and by stopping exactly under the arrow indicating the destination.

"There are a number of hidden features in the game," continued Gustafson. "For instance, players can pickup under water passengers by driving off the beach and into the ocean. Also, by pulling a "U" turn at the start of the game they’ll find an entirely new area of the city to explore." These and many other hidden features are sure to keep players returning again and again to see what else Crazy Taxi has to offer.***Soundtrack titles:

The wackier you drive (the wrong side of the motorway, passing cars between lanes, etc. etc.) the higher you score. This game is a complete winner compared to the "standard genre" games presented by SEGA for a long time...

NiGHTS Into Dreams...  Sega;Samsung (Sonic Team;Sega AM3)1996When dream becomes soul-chilling nightmare, you're the key as you fight for Nightopia's sanity. Thought Artificial life, super-fluid views, realtime 3D, free character movement and supersonic speed were impossible?
Get real... Anything's possible in a dream!***NiGHTS into Dreams is possibly the most original game to ever grace any console.
NiGHTS is a creature of a children dream world called Nightopia. Nightopia is being threatened by the evil Wiseman, so NiGHTS gets help from two children to fight him, Claris and Elliot. You then play as them and as NiGHTS in their dreams.

The gameplay is simply a mix of puzzle, racing game concepts and flight. You fly around as NiGHTS with the analog stick and you collect a minimum of blue spheres within the time limit. The more spheres and extra stuff you get in the least time, the higher your score is.
When you got at least a C you can fight the boss of the area (every boss is defeated in a different way).
