Battlezone: Rise of the Black Dogs Crave Entertainment (Climax Entertainment)2000Battlezone 64 introduces a bevy of new twists on the old theme. Players choose between three modes: arcade, pilot, and commander. The arcade variation most closely resembles the original's gameplay, namely shoot anything and everything that may resemble an enemy until it blows up. The second mode sends players on tasks provided by a mission commander, adding a bit of adventure and responsibility to the mix. The third variation most closely resembles the PC revision's combination of action and strategic gameplay, enabling players to collect vital resources necessary for building new structures and vehicles, and to populate a base with defensive measures and command units. Added bonus: the freedom to jump out of your vehicle, stealthily run to another (30 vehicles in all with over 15 weapons), climb aboard, and battle on. Multiplayer mode allows up to four players to battle, or two players to compete in a more strategic game style. N64labelimagesubject

[cjlee001]***One of the best games ever. But... playing it though a emulator is real nasty, because of the games perspective and controls combined with the pc keyboard 3-key limit.
Get a real Megadrive and buy this game! Good!

[20]***In ages long forgotten, Light fought Darkness for control of the world. Finally, the Ancients defeated the evil ruler of the dark forces known as Dark Dragon and cast him into another dimension, though he vowed to return in 1,000 years. As time passed, all memory of Dark Dragon was buried, and the land of Rune enjoyed 10 centuries of peace. Yet, as promised, the dark ruler returned, along with hordes of evil creatures that ravaged the land. As chaos erupted, several strongholds of Good still held out, awaiting a hero who could wield the Powers of Light.***Wicked game. You control Max and his army to defeat the evil Darksol before he awakens Dark Dragon, an evil incarnate sealed by the ancients a millenium ago.

Strategy-RPG where you move the characters around a battle map; the battle action is during a small cut scene. The difference with most strategy-RPGs is that this time you can also move around in towns like in regular RPGs and talk to people, etc.

X-COM: UFO Defence  MicroProse (Climax Entertainment)1995You are in control of X-Com; an organisation formed by the world's governments to fight the ever-increasing alien menace.

- Command deadly close-combat battles:

Tackle the aliens with automatic rifles, rocket launchers and even tanks in the struggle to retrieve useful technology, weapons or life forms.

Successful ground assault missions will allow X-Com scientists to analyse alien items. Each new breakthrough brings you a little closer to understanding the technology and culture of the alien races. When your engineers have amassed sufficient research data on their superior weapons and craft, they'll be available for your troops to use.

- Develop a strategy to save the Earth:
