BlazBlue: Central Fiction Aksys Games (Arc System Works)? PS3labelimageminimize
BlazBlue: Central Fiction Arc System Works2015Following the gameplay from BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma Extend, there are additional changes and new mechanics. The changes are the Overdrive activation is now having its duration is shown under the Burst Gauge in the form of a countdown timer (which counts seconds and split-seconds); The characters' portrait near the health bar shakes when taking damages; and character's emblem appears at each character side when the phrase "The Wheel of Fate is Turning" shows when the first Rebel starts. The new gameplay mechanics are Exceed Accel, a special type of Distortion Drive, which is executed a same input as Overdrive activation by holding it during Overdrive activation, or pressing it, begins with the character performing a specific attack in their move-set, and once it connects the rest of the background shatters away into the Overdrive background effect when the attack is performed. It dishes large damage, but immediately ends Overdrive; and Active Flow, which acts as the opposite of Negative Penalty status. A character that fights offensively goes into an Active Flow, which boosts damage and recovery of the Burst Gauge. Active Flow also increases the damage of Exceed Accel (for some it may add extra effects and animations). When a character enters Active Flow, his/her emblem on the health bar becomes purple pink. The purple pink color itself is also shown surrounding the Overdrive Gauge, when a character is close to entering Active Flow. Arcadelabelimagesubject

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Arc System Works2012Besides normal rebalancing from Continuum Shift Extend, Chrono Phantasma features several revamped gameplay mechanics and introduces seven new characters to the roster (with two additional characters added to the Extend version of Chrono Phantasma). The character sprites have also been redrawn and several new songs were composed for the game. All previous musical themes were re-arranged. The storyline continues after events of Continuum Shift.
A new mechanic called "Overdrive" has been added to the game, replacing the Gold Bursts from Continuum Shift. Green Bursts are still in but are the only form of Burst available.
Distortion Drives such as Ragna's "Blood Kain", Taokaka's "Almost Becoming Two!", Litchi's "Great Wheel" and Bang's "Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan" have been retooled to be their respective characters' Overdrives. The length of an Overdrive increases the lower a character's health is, and performing an Overdrive stops the round timer while it is active.
Guard Primers have been removed entirely and the Guard Crush has been moved to a new mechanic called "Crush Trigger" where, at the cost of 25 Heat, a player may hit the A and B attack buttons simultaneously to cause a Guard Crush against blocking opponents, provided the opponent is not using Barrier Block.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II ARC System Works2011This is a fighting game in which players control one of several 13th century characters from the City of Katugsuchi in one-on-one fight matches. Players punch, kick, and use special attacks against opponents until the other character's health meter is depleted. Each character has individualized special attacks, including sword swipes, gunfire, magic, and electrocution. Characters often react to injury by staggering back with a moan, groan, or strained breath. During fight sequences, some female characters' breasts jiggle, while other characters make sexually suggestive remarks (e.g., 'Boing! Boing! Mmm . . . Your boobies are still the best!'). A 'Gallery Mode' includes still images of female character—in provocative poses—wearing outfits that expose a lot of cleavage; a couple of women's outfits suddenly disappear, revealing near-topless images. In one cutscene, a character's face and clothing is streaked with blood. Characters frequently use language such as 'sh*t,' 'a*shole,' and 'b*tch' in the dialogue. 3DSlabelimagesubject
