None of these altered sports are a foosball (table football/table soccer) variant. Team choice matters as each has abilities that the others do not. Up to four players can use a single computer in any combination of cooperative and competitive play. This game does contains a maneuver comparable to the "Fish out of Water" maneuver rarely used in table soccer where the player purposefully launches the ball off the table then, while still airborne, strikes it with a player to launch it above the game board to land back on the board, ideally, in a chosen place (often directly in the goal box, making it extremely difficult to block). However, launching a soccer ball off the grass is quite common in soccer. The similarity comes from having the players flip upside down to kick the ball (as is required for the maneuver in table soccer). Again, a kickflip (rainbow kick) is an established soccer maneuver; but the way it is used in this game resembles the Fish out of Water maneuver of table soccer more than it does a real kickflip. The game also includes realist kickflips. Table soccer note, a variant of "Fish out of Water" has the ball bounce on the top of the side rail before returning to the playfield. This is still a legal move. This variant is also present in a way in this game when a ball bounces off an obstacle and returns to the playfield.
