Lunar 2: Eternal Blue  Kadokawa Shoten (Game Arts;Vanguard Entertainment;ESP Games)1998The second part of the amazing RPG Lunar The Silver Star really
suppered it : much better graphics and animes, WONDERFUL music (although it's not in full audio CD, like Lunar TSS), AMAZING plot and MARVELOUS characters. Working Designs made a very good job with the translation for the Sega CD, in text, voices and songs (the game features two singed songs).
It's almost impossible to have the Saturn version translated, but a PSX one is coming soon.
In my opinion, this is the best RPG in all story. It alone is worth buying an old Sega-CD.
So, what are you waiting for?

A truly classic RPG that never got the recognition it deserved here in the States - mostly because of the commercial failure of the platform it was made for, the infamous SegaCD. Combining an anime-quality plot, memorable characters, a full orchestral soundtrack, and an English translation that - unlike, say, the Final Fantasies - doesn't take itself too seriously, Lunar is well worth the considerable effort it'll take to find a used copy.
