A classic Ultima style story by Tracy Hickman (no involvement by EA). 5 guaranteed episodes (there probably be more eventually) Online modes are "open", "friends", and interestingly, "solo". It seems one can experience the online world version populated only by AI players and opponents or with only a select group of friends (together or verses, it would seem). It seems to be shaping up to be a [s]direct competitor[/s] superior replacement to Ultima Online, period[s]by offering all the UO features plus many more[/s]. Also, I've been playing beta content and seeing some content that seems vaguely familiar. Though the graphics are rather primitive by today's standards, that's only because this game is relatively old. It features three different playable races, each of which requires different strategies for maximum effectiveness. Play as the versatile Terran colonists, the voracious Zerg xenomorphs, or the enigmatic, psionically gifted Protoss (my personal favorite). The game also includes a map editing program for the unique SCM and SCX map format, enabling a patient user to craft new maps and scenarios. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link	Nintendo	1988	There is an extremely obscure bug in the game whereby the attack value which normally maxes out at 8 can be set to something else. "0" and "F" have been seen. Both of these, with two exceptions, will allow Link to kill any enemy with one hit. The exceptions are the Thunderbird boss which requires one hit but the thunder spell must still be cast on it first. Shadow Link still requires 8 hits. No one has discovered what triggers this bug. Desptite being a quite good game, Zelda 2 is my least favorite of the classic Zelda games. It surely explored a new gameplay style but the levels were too difficult and I didn't like the random enemy encounter battle system (the similar "[game=#7581]The Battle of Olympus[/game]" would prove to be much better balanced in my eyes). Graphics and sound are very good for its time. Nintendo understood how to program their 8-bit console.	NES
