The story is dark fantasy/horror, very Lovecraft-inspired. The game plays somewhat like Resident Evil, but with "friendlier" controls. The player can create his own spells from runes and scrolls and various components, and s/he must always be careful of his level of sanity - when sanity drops, weird things happen...
