Time Bandits | PSS | 1984 | You are the pilot of a modern supersonic jet fighter when it is whisked through a time warp to the dawn of aviation. You must now do battle with flying machines from the vairous era's of flight in order to regain your own time zone. You must protect your own fighter, and in addition, your ammunition truck. You have three of each and you need both to continue playing. From time to time you will run low on fuel or missiles this is accompanied by a warning tone, and the item in short supply will be displayed at the top left of the screen. To refuel, you must fly to the top of the screen, dock with your refuellling plane and press the fire button. To rearm, land by the ammunition truck and again press the fire button. If you have no missiles you can fly below the level of the hills, but not at any other time. At the top of thescreen is your scanner display, this shows the deployment of the enemy. Use it to get lined up on your target before it enters the main display. At the top right is the number of remaining planes and trucks at your disposal. | labelimagesubject |
