Pipe Dream  Lucasfilm Games;Empire (The Assembly Line)1990Nice little puzzle game. You have to connect pipes to create as long a way as possible. After some time water flows through the pipes and hopefully you connected enough parts to make it into the next level. Expect a very hectic game. "Pipe Dream" (or Pipe Mania as the European release was titled) manages to be very addictive up to a certain degree and the same concept can still be found in many freeware games today. labelimageminimize

Up the Wall Soleau Software1990While this game looks nearly the same as [game=#185829]Main Break[/game] its quite different. While Main Break is a strict Pipe Mania clone, in Up the Wall you have to 'shoot' the pieces from the bottom to the top at the right time. You also don't get information what type of piece is next. labelimageminimize

The Incredible Machine  Sierra On-Line (Dynamix)1992Undoubtedly one of the most unique games ever produced for the PC, The Incredible Machines 1 is a dream come true for anyone who as a child likes to tinker with gadgets and toys. It is a puzzle game par excellence and beyond: you have to use wacky gadgets and tools given for each level to accomplish objectives. Using animated parts, players need to assemble a Rube Goldberg-type contraption to solve a simple puzzle. A "design your own" option is also available where the player can design and activate his or her own wacky machine. Puzzles start out relaxing and get fiendish very quickly, as later levels require not only ingenuity but also precise timing. A true classic.***

PornPipe Sexxy Software (Image-Line Software)1993PornPipe is a Pipe Dream variant with an adult theme.

The player should construct the pipe (simulating the penis) to be long enough to ejaculate the sperm after defined time. While the "liquid" is flowing in the sections of "the pipe:, parts of a "porn video" (looping animated images) will appear at the bottom left corner. Once the video is fully revealed, or the final part of "the pipe" is reached, the level is completed.

There are four levels with four different female models seen in background of playfield. The mechanics of pipe construction also varies. Pipe may be constructed with parts given to the player in random order, or it may be adjusted with parts already scattered on playfield.

The Incredible Machine 2 Sierra On-Line (Jeff Tunnell Productions)1994This game involves puzzle solving, while creating wacky machines. Each level of the game contains a machine designed to do a specific task. The only problem is, there are parts missing, and it is your job to figure out where to put what in order to get the machine to work. The game features many wacky machine parts, including cats, super balls, lava lamps, flashlights, can openers, monkeys on treadmills, and many more wacky parts to get your machine working. The game also comes with an editor to let you design your own unique machines from scratch. These can either be for fun, or you can set it so that the person playing has to fill in the missing parts, just like in the campaign. labelimagesubject
