Firearms - 1975 to 2023
Player can use projectile weapons that use a controlled explosion to propel a bullet at the intended target.

Direct-fire cannons (Field guns;Tank guns) - 1980 to 2024
Large-caliber direct-fire guns.

Guns - 1983 to 2009
Any projectile weapons or devices that propel their payload via non-mechanical method (e.g. no sling or bow sending it flying).

Arm cannons(Arm guns) - 1986 to 2023
Player character's arm is actually a cannon/gun, or can wield a gun that envelopes the hand/forearm or is mounted on the arm (e.g. wrist gun).

Rotary guns (Gatling gun;Minigun;Rotary cannon) - 1992 to 2020
Includes guns with 2 or more barrels rotating while firing.

Hand cannons - 2001 to 2017
Handheld cannons that fire large metallic balls.

Auto-cannons - 2003 to 2016
A cross between tank gun and a heavy machine gun.
