Dead Mountaineer Hotel is an adventure game, based on the original story written by the Strugatsky brothers.
A police inspector traveling in the mountains has been caught by a snow avalanche thus getting stuck in a remote inn – Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Quite unexpectedly for himself he got involved into very weird and mystical affairs. Strange, even shocking things are happening there.
Soon, the inspector has found a body of one of the hotel guests. Trying to investigate the crime he eventually reveals terrible secrets the Hotel is hiding. Now everyone is under suspicion. The attractive and intricate investigation results in some unexpected mysterious final.
