Supposedly inspired by old Cinemaware games. Some of the games mentioned (unknown actual value to the final game) were Rocket Ranger, Axis & Allies, King of Chicago, Defender of the Crown, StarCraft, and Command & Conquer. And there was stated inspiration from their own RPGs.
