Shortly after the initial Japanese Famicom Disk System release, Nintendo published "Ice Hockey" in the US. It is a very well playable and fast ice hockey game. The best feature is the free choice between three different player types (slow and strong vs. fast and squishy) for your team. The only aspect this game lacks a bit in is the lack of different competition modes. Maybe the best 8-bit ice hockey game if you consider the pure fun aspect.
