Most of the missions are space based and involve a variety of objectives such as seek and destroy, protect and deliver vessels, rescue missions and covert operations. There are even some planet based missions that will have you piloting your cruiser across the upper atmosphere while attempting to take out enemy ships. This is the perfect game for any Star Trek fan.

A bunch of Star Trek games have appeared on the PC, but the design team behind Colony Wars has followed a different path than most of those games. Star Trek: Invasion is a space combat game with lots of intense action. Throughout the game, you'll get to fly around in numerous ships doing battle against a number of alien races, including a new one created just for this game called the Kam' Jahtae. Adding to the games replay value, you and a friend can play with or against each other.
