Personal review

What have they done to my belove "Winter Games"? The homecomputer versions were great, especially the C64 version. The Famicom Disk System version (a few months later brought to the US on cartridge for the NES by Acclaim) is a total mess. Only four events instead of eight (missing my personal favorites, Biathlon and Ski Jump) and those events that are in are badly ported. Controls are bad. In Figure Skating you not even know what to do when. Graphics are bad. Sound is bad (whoever came up with the Speed Skating "intro sound" must be insane). I have seen rather bad homecomputer ports on the Famicom/NES (just think of Ghostbusters), but "Winter Games" is amongst the very worst.
