Personal review

"Elnark no Zaihou" is a good example of an uninspired, bland game. On first sight it looks like a Zelda-Clone, but its a shoot'em up and run around game. I wasn't able to figure out what to do actually, the landscape would repeat itself endlessly and I couldn't find any clues whatsoever. Even on the internet information about this game is pretty sparse. It doesn't play well and doesn't look and sound good as well, so I guess it is not a hidden gem, but more in the category of the numerous strange, extremely bad Japanese "kusoge" games that (luckily) did not make it over to other parts of the world.
