This is an IBM PC adaptation of Scott Adams' "Adventure #1: Adventureland", written in BASIC in 1978 for the TRS-80 and other contemporary machines. According to the BASIC source code, the program was adapted for the IBM PC in January 1983 from the Commodore PET program, amended so it may be compiled, and uploaded to PCanada by Mark Magner on April 5, 1983.
