Crystal Castles Atari;Video 61 (Atari)1988Atari never published this 16k prototype cartridge. Video 61 published it later in 1988.***Actually Atari Corp. did publish this game in 1988, four years after its finishing and planed release in 1984. Before the 1988 release, some minor improvements (sloppy hacks) by someone increased the memory requirements above 16k. The hacks did make the game even more like the arcade version but they hardly seems worth 48k. This made it unplayable on Atari 400 and 800 machines (without soldering). It was only playable on machines with 64k, such as the 600XL and XEGS. The XE branded version of the game hacked by the same unknown programmer was published at the same time. To play this game on a 16k machine you'll need the Video 61 version.

Preppie! Adventure International;Video 61 (Adventure International)1982Preppie is here! Teeing off on the course may be delightfully fashionable but it can be pretty dangerous on this crazy green! Preppie is a graphics tour de force that dares your preppie to cross an alligator-filled river and recover his wayward golf ball. Dangers lurk everywhere - from speeding golf carts to monster frogs. Only a true Ivy Leaguer could face up to this kind of punishment!

Preppie is a real-time game that's written in fast-paced machine language, and Mummy would most certainly approve of its high score save feature, inventive sound routines and joystick compatibility. Preppie also showcases a wide range of the Atari's colors - twenty-eight in all - that will delight and thrill the most fashion-conscious gamester.

So, why go slumming with lesser simulations? You'll be the toast of the country club with Preppie.***

Save Mary  Atari;Video 61 (Atari;Axlon)1990CX26178. This prototype cartridge was not published by Atari in 1990. But it was published later by Video 61. Then in 2005 it was published again with the [gametag=flashback Atari Flashback 2.0]flashback Atari Flashback 2.0[/gametag]
Had this game been released it may have permanently saved Tod Frye's reputation. It may have even extended the life the Atari 2600 a few more years. Every Atari owner would have wanted one this game and it was worth buying the system for since the 2600 was selling so cheaply at the time. Nolan Bushnell and Steve Wozniak both expressed interest in buying this game for themselves. Sources say that development of this game started in 1987 giving it the longest development time of any other VCS game. The development was drawn out because Tod Frye was working at Axlon at the time. Atari kept hiring him part time, on and off again, while he kept his job at Axlon. The game was ready for production when Atari officially dropped support of the 2600 in 1990-01-01. The PAL version was ready 10-24-1991-19-24 (?huh? ?Atari had already dropped support for the 2600? ?so, why?)

Sentinel Atari;Video 61 (Atari)1991Sentinel was the last game released for the Atari 7800, and the only to be released exclusively outside of the United States. In 2003 ResQsoft Productions released this game in NTSC format.***CX7869. The last 7800 game to be officially released, it was only published in Europe, PAL. An NTSC prototype was later polished and published by Video 61. Atari was so eager to be rid of all 7800 business that Sentinel was published with xeroxes of the the prototype manual that still had the image placeholders and instructions for the printing company in it.
