Art of Theft  Fully Ramblomatic2010This is a small game staring the man known as Trilby. Set in Trilby's self described "colorful past", 2 years before the events in 5 days a skeptic. This game's storyline does not include the Chzo Mythos as it predates Trilby's involvement with the supernatural. Players get to direct the self indulgent, self described "gentleman thief" on heists against rich people that have offended him in some way. Cut electric wires to disable security measures, move with stealth and realistic acrobatics, dodge lights and laser beams, hide in shadows, mess with people's heads, and when all else fails, zap them with your hidden umbrella tazer. Trilby disdains confrontation, he'll only zap so many people before he decides a heist is getting too rough. Alarms tend to attract confrontation as well so setting them off may prompt a retreat also. He will not let the player cause him to get caught, ever.. Heist performance are graded on speed, loot value, avoiding zaps and alarms. Good performance makes headlines of Trilby's exploits that Trilby enjoys reading. They also increases Trilby's confidence and reputation points which he can trade for thieving skills after reading the paper. Prepare to be bad, but debonair in this unique little platformer.

Bi-Fi Roll: Snack Zone  Bi-Fi Roll; The Art Department (The Art Department;Touch of Magic)1993Snack Zone is a German-language promotional adventure game. The plot is that secret documents have gone missing from the factory that makes Bi-Fi Rolls (a kind of salami-based snack) and without them, production has been forced to halt, and supplies will run out in a few days. You play the role of a man called Lukas, and it is your responsibility to scour the city and recover these documents as quickly as possible. The game is controlled with the joystick: you can walk left and right, and press up to go through an exit or talk to a character you are standing next to. At the bottom of the screen is a panel that shows the inventory items you are carrying, as well as three stats: your physical energy, your emotional wellbeing, and your snack levels. While completing your main task, you will also need to make sure these stats are kept topped up, which you can do by buying snacks from street kiosks and by helping people you meet solve their problems. Command & Conquer  Virgin (Westwood Studios)1995It's a classic real-time strategy game. There exist two parties, NOD and GDI. Both have different units and structures. The game features about 15 mission on each side. In most missions you have to build a base first to build new units and structures. Special harvesters collect the so-called "Tiberium" and convert it to money in a reffinery. The game features fmv after every mission.***Review for add-on "The Covert Operations" ("Opérations Survie" in French).
[84]***One add-on was released: The Covert Operations, in 1996, added 15 new missions (7 for GDI, 8 for NOD).***
[22]***Diverges from real-world's timeline with a meteorite crashing down near river Tiber in Italy, introducing an alien substance to Earth dubbed Tiberium. Secret society known as Brotherhood of Nod had somehow predicted this event and had developed technologies to harvest Tiberium, much ahead of anyone else (presumably prior to the meteorite falling down on Earth).***Command & Conquer is possibly the most imitated game in the PC's history. Indeed, the game itself is far from original, borrowing heavily from Westwood's previous work (and inventor of the real-time strategy genre) Dune II. In C&C's favour, it improved on its forbear in many crucial areas, not least Dune II's interface which was clunky and unintuitive at best. Improvements were also made in graphics and sound, giving the whole package a more polished feel.
All in all, C&C was a technically excellent game which many gamers hold dear.

In 1996 the released an additional mission-cd titled "Command & Conquer: The Covert Operations", featuring 15 more difficult missions and a hidden dinosaur campaign.

Command & Conquer  Westwood (Virgin)1996Command & Conquer develops ideas from Westwood's previous game Dune 2, forming a real-time strategy (RTS) game. The control system involves selecting units with the mouse and then directing them, while the opponents make their moves without waiting for a "turn" to end.

The game focuses on a war between two organizations, The Brotherhood of Nod and the Global Defense Initiative. The player can take control of either side for more than 15 missions. Both have different units and structures, including artillery, tanks and light infantry.

In most missions, a base needs to be built first in order to build new units and structures. Most important are the harvesters, which collect Tiberium and deliver it to a refinery, where it's converted into money, thus funding the construction of a base and an army.

The game also features FMV mission briefings and victory cutscenes.***

This game is rated M but their was no specific Nudity or Partial Nudity descriptor at the time of its publishing. (as of 2008) It would probably qualify for "Brief and/or mild depictions of nudity" for scene with CGI breast exposure (which remains even in the US release).

Day of the Tentacle Remastered  Double Fine2016Of note, this game uses modified versions of the original datafiles from the DOS version. The Scumm engine has been updated to read XML, FSB, MP3, and DXT files (which are how the modified datafiles are stored). This new version of the the Scumm engine runs natively on current Linux operating systems, Windows 7+, and OSX 10.7-10.11. Double Fine provides a bit of software called Doublefine Explorer that lets users, among other things, copy out the original datafiles minus the extensions. Thus recreating the DOS version from the modern files (to use with ScummVM, DOSBox, or DOS). All Moai engine or Buddha engine games by Double Fine are compatible with Doublefine Explorer. Of course, the extracted files do not have any of the updated sound, music, graphics, and features of the remastered version.

While not properly titled as such, several official descriptions and documentation (including the Steam page) use the title "Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle" and "Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle"

Earl Weaver Baseball II  Electronic Arts (Mirage Graphics)1991Game as an action mode (play typical 1-2 player baseball) and management mode (typical sports manager except with 2-player option)

When played on a VGA card in EGA mode, there was a setting that allowed the game to use VGA colors by directly addressing the registers of the card (bypassing the card's BIOS). This actually allows faster animations than using VGA mode. VGA mode was not supported even if VGA cards were. On a pre-VGA card, this setting was not available and the EGA colors were black, yellow, green, and red (same as CGA mode). MCGA mode shows 256 colors; but of course not many people ever had MCGA.

[32]***Very unique RPG in which you control a child and play in a modern day setting (the 90s).***In an age of RPGs filled with tales of swords and magic and dragons, a new RPG is born to break the mold. Earthbound is a very unique RPG where swords and magic are replaced by baseball bats and psychic powers; instead of dragons you fight crooked cops and cult leaders. The story is light-hearted and humorous, with quite the colorful cast of characters. The graphics are rather sub-par (even for when the game came out) but it's a gaming experience unlike any other.
