The Bard's Tale II: The Destiny Knight Electronic Arts (Interplay)1988When The Going Gets Even Tougher...

Another wolf! Your magic sword cleaves him mid-snarl, and he drops in a fur-pile at your feet. There's a slime-ball conjurer just out of reach who'll keep summoning these slobbering ,issiles until your sword arm drops off. Unless you can figure out a way to get at him.

When you put Mangar out to oasture, all you really wanted was a bottomless mug and an ace up your sleeve. So what are you doing out here in the gnarly wilderness, knee-deep in wolf meat, itching to put an arrow through the Adam's apple of some spell-caster?

It must be your Destiny.***

The Bard's Tale III: Thief of Fate Electronic Arts (Interplay)1991When the Bard's scared sober, trust a thief

...like me.

When the Bard's Tale began, we lived a charmed life. Good ale. Good song. Good company. Mangar came along, but we cut him to pieces before he could blink. Soon the world got bigger. We wandered the wilderness for months to find the pieces of that infernal Destiny Wand. But once we reforged it, Lagoth Zanta was history.

But then, being a thief was dull. Pick this lock. Disarm that trap. When things got hot, they'd tell me "Into the shadows, wimp." I should've lifted their gold and split long ago. But it's too late now.

We battle through the seven worlds. Cast Warstrike and Rimefang over and over. Cut down the endless Hookfangs and Slathbeasts. And suddenly, The Archmage is powerless. The Warrior is weak. The Bard can't play. Now they say I'm the only hope. I'm slick. I'm sneaky. And I'm going to fight the Mad God... alone.

Some fate.***

[37]***The Bards Tale 2 Thief of Fate is the best game ever created. It features a hell of a lot of problem solving that taxes even the most experience gamers to the limit. I have been playing this game on and off for 10 years and have still not completed it. It is a work of art. It beats anything currently on the market and in my opinion if the next gen consoles were to bring this game out they would make a packet. I believe that this game is perfection. If you are an RPG/Fantasy fan go online buy an Amiga and play this game, simply put it is undoubtedly one of the best games ever made. I LOVE IT

The Bard's Tale III: Thief of Fate  Electronic Arts (Interplay)1988Explorado Shara Brae, el campamento de refugiados y Piedra Sombría)
Nuetros héroes vuelven a Shara Brae, sólo para encontrarla cambiada para siempre, y no a mejor.

Pros:

The Bard's Tale: Tales of the Unknown Electronic Arts (Interplay)1987The Legend of Skara Brae

Long ago, when magic still prevailed, the evil wizard Mangar the Dark threatened a small but harmonious country town called Skara Brae. Evil creatures oozed into Skara Brae and joined his shadow domain. Mangar froze the surrounding lands with a spell of Eternal Winter, totally isolating Skara Brae from any possible help. Then, one night the town militiamen all disappeared.

The future of Skara Brae hung in the balance. And who was left to resist? Only a handful of unproven young Warriors, junior Magic Users, a couple of Bards barely old enough to drink, and some out of work Rogues.

You are there. You are the leader of this ragtag group of freedom fighters. Luckily you have a Bard with you to sing your glories, if you survive. For this is the stuff of legends. And so the story begins...***

The Bard's Tale: Tales of the Unknown  Interplay1987(Explorada la mayor parte de Shara Brae)
