Inner Worlds  Sleepless Software;GOTO (Sleepless Software)1996The protagonist is a female werewolf able to transform between human and wolf forms at will so long has enough mana has been collected. While this is an action side-view platformer game there are enough RPG elements to make this game mainly of the RPG genre. The main character can increase in ability as she progresses in the game. The game appears at first to have a linear design but exploration of the levels will reveal a complex map layout, some levels can be skipped, and completed or skipped levels can be relocated and played again. Certain areas are only accessible via one form or the other. The game has an inventory for various weapons, keys, scrolls, and potions. Normal weapons can be enchanted. Collecting amulets allows for increases in maximum mana or maximum health. Defeating certain enemies grants new abilities.

Was developed and compiled on Linux. It was cross compiled for DOS and Windows. The Linux version is actually hidden on the full version CD-ROMs of the Windows and DOS versions. It is also 299 files rather than a monolithic executable (like the DOS and Winders versions were)

The DOS version comes in a shareware package consisting of the 1st of 3 episodes. This is not the case with the Linux version and never was. The Linux version only exists (for the public) on the CD-ROMs of the DOS or Windows versions and includes all three episodes. While the full DOS version was made available for download from Sleepless, Inc's website, the Linux and Windows versions were not and are not. They are freely redistributable "whereever you can get it", as stated by Sleepless. As of 2017, it is available on the Internet as file iw12-linux.tgz. And at the Internet Archive.

The CD-ROM version is known to have been published in the USA and France. There are very likely other places and languages as well.

Inner Worlds was the first proprietary and commercial game developed on Linux. Also the first Linux that you could actually buy on store shelves despite the product being hidden on the disk. It was preceded by Doom which required downloading the Linux version after purchase. Succeeded by Civilization: Call to Power published by Loki Entertainment; the first Linux game on store shelves that was not packaged in a product for another operating system.

DroidQuest author2000The game is pure java, completely cross-platform. Its here because the game itself available at no cost unlike the other platforms it runs on.***A near pixel-perfect match for the original Robot Odyssey with added secret quest and secret level. Program three abandon robots using logic gates to retrieve inaccessible items you need and transport you to inaccessible areas in order to escape from Robotropolis. labelimagesubject
Glarf author2005You are what you eat. This is a platformer with creatures that become more like the powerups they consume. Glarf can shoot fireballs, bouncy globs, and liquids. These things inherit properties of powerups that Glarf chooses to use. With selective use of powerups, new weapons with new effects can be crafted. labelminimizesubject

Robot Odyssey Rewired author2009This is a java script and assembly game engine remake for Robot Odyssey v1.1 for DOS. It runs a web browsers. Some interface features and graphics enhancements are added but the game is otherwise identical to the DOS version 1.1 (As an example, some of the clipping cheats are removed in v1.1 for DOS and so RORw doesn't have them).

You are trapped in a the robot city, Robotropolis. You must navigate the city by designing and soldering logic circuits into discarded robots. You'll need to find batteries, battery chargers (unless you work extremely efficiently), keys, tokens, sensors, and microchips, among other things. But more important than any items you find in the game is the item resting between your shoulders, your brain. The puzzles in this game have no absolute solution (but hints and parts are sometimes provided for a solution predetermined by the game designers), instead you must design the solutions that you think will work. The unofficial sequel to [game=#20413]Rocky's Boots[/game]. Uses a much more advanced engine to drive very, very complex logic circuitry and animations. Although the puzzles in the game don't come close to needing the complexity this game is capable of delivering. It is educational, just don't tell anyone because this game is way to much fun to spoil.

In the Sewer level, you can find initials of 8 of the level designers. No doubt this is was included because of Warren Robinett's famous easter egg in Atari Adventure. There is also a secret room in the game where text concerning Warren Robinett and Rocky's Boots is shown.

There are 4 sides to this program! Depending on what version you have, all sides of the disks may contain useful chips. Check'em out.

The copy protection of this game will prevent the soldering iron from working Even if legitimately purchased, the floppy disk will eventually degrade and trigger the copy protection. The disks are a modified DOS 3.3 format. Enter B942:18 in the Apple's monitor program, copy the disks, then Enter B942:36. Edit the disks and change $000FD2 and $040EEB to 38. Now you have disks suitable to dump for emulation.

"Klaatu Barada Nikto" is a reference to the old black and white classic sci-fi, The Day the Earth Stood Still
There is a Dalek in The Sewers level.

Dragon Warrior 64 UniKorn ProDucKions2020Kill monsters in 1-on-1 turn based combat to gain gold and experience. Explore the overworld. Enter dungeons to find treasure. Buy better weapons and armor. Rescue the Princess. Recover Erdrick's ball of light. Defeat The Dragon-lord.

A faithful reproduction of the original NES Dragon Warrior with only minor (non-gameplay) alterations save one. For minor example, in the beginning of both versions, the hero does not begin with weapon nor armor. Regardless, the hero is depicted holding a weapon and wearing armor in the NES version. This clone begins with the hero unarmed in a loin cloth and depicts him in a loin cloth without a weapon in hand. Equipping a weapon will then depict the hero with one and likewise armor. Random events are calculated differently. Again, the menu interface, all items, spells, quests, monsters, and such are the same. The only difference is the newly available Erdrick's Shield.

At the time of this article's publishing the game was at version 1.3 and there were several minor bugs. Only one of which required reverting to a previous save game.
