Lemmings Psygnosis (Focus Studios)1995While the shareware demo was made available, no one has yet confirmed that the full version was every published.

Players report better performance when using EnDIVE.

"The good news – as far as I can tell, the code is complete and working.
The game is in testing even as I type this, and I’ll let you know what
the marketing plans are as soon as I find out – hey, I’m only a developer,
what do *I* know? :-)
I’m putting together a demo version now, and should be able to have
that available sometime this week or next – you’ll see it.
Enjoy!" - Michael J. Farren

The final version of the demo was published 1996-08-01

"OS/2 users must wait a little longer for the full version of Lemmings to be released. However, Sony told us that the game is by far the best version of Lemmings for any system with features such as scaling, and a true multi-threaded multi-tasking engine."- Game Zero Magazine article 1996.

Sim City 2000  Maxis (WinWare Corporation)1996MSRP: US$29.95
This product was unknown until a customer requested it from Maxis. At that time Maxis admitted the game's existence and said they would sell it directly to customers that requested it. The customer posted the news on Usenet and many OS/2 users bought this game despite Maxis' efforts to keep the product secret and make no money from it. By 1995 a demo version was available on various BBS, IRC, FTP, and web page sources.

This version is fully compatible with 'DOS' and/or 'Windows' expansion packs for SimCity 2000.

Trials of Battle Shadowsoft (Stardock)1996This game was expected by Stardock to sell millions of copies. But, IBM had secretly decided to abandon OS/2. This fact became known outside IBM just before publishing. Consequently, only a few hundred copes were sold. labelimageminimize
