The game came in DOS format version and a bootloader version. There are traces of formal application letter by Mr. Kuperberg in the data in areas of the bootloader disk that were not used to store the game.

PC Man  ?1982Since someone asked for a download link / where to get the game I will describe a short way to get it. The game was released as part of the Total DOS Collection. Easiest way to get this particular game out of the collection is via archive.org.

1. Go to https://ia800803.us.archive.org/view_archive.php?archive=/4/items/Total_DOS_Collection_Release_13/TotalDOSCollection-Release13.zip

2. Search for a link "TDC release 13/198x.zip" and download the 198x.zip

3. Open the zip and look for a file "PCMAN (198x)(Anonymous) [Action].zip". Inside that zip is the game you search.

Will delete this post after a few days. If an editor sees this long time after I made this note please delete it yourself in case I forgot it to delete.

Digger Windmill Software1983I was suprised to find this surely once commercial game amidst many shareware/freeware games on a CD-ROM from Softgold from around 1994. On the cover the box only claims to have [game=#43157]Tennis Cup 2[/game] as commercial software on it ("Topshots on CD - Tennis Cup 2"); and besides that over 400 MB of freeware games and tools. We will never find out, but I wonder if this is a typical case of a company publishing a freeware collection without really having taken their time to thoroughly check the games to be free or not. labelimageminimize
FriendlyWare P.C. Arcade Friendlysoft1983A collection of arcade-style games for the IBM PC presented in ASCII graphics. To my knowledge these games were not meant to be separate releases and they have a similar structure only meant to be for this collection. So they do not qualify as single release but the "collection" in this case does. labelimageminimize

Ms. Pac-Man Atarisoft (Quality Software)1983Ms PAC-MAN scores points by eating the dots in the maze whilst avoiding the ghosts. Flashing Power Pills are located in each corner of the screen. Eating a Power Pill will turn the ghosts blue with fright for a few seconds, during which time Ms PAC-MAN may chomp the ghosts to score more points for each ghost she catches. They will blink before they turn back to their true colours and then Ms PAC-MAN had better beware!

When Ms PAC-MAN has eaten all the dots, she reappears in a new maze where the ghosts move faster. In each successive maze, it becomes harder for Ms PAC-MAN to eat all the dots without being caught.

Ms PAC-MAN can travel from one side of the screen to the other by using the Escape tunnels. The pursuing ghosts are slowed down through these tunnels so make good use of them...

At the begining of the game Ms PAC-MAN has five lives. She is rewarded with an extra life when she reaches 10,000 points. Extra points can be earned by eating the bonus fruits which appear from time to time.

If Ms PAC-MAN is caught by a ghost then she loses one of her five lives.***

Pac-Man Atari1983HUNGRY PAC-MAN VS. THE GOBBLING GOBLINS

THE THRILL OF THE ARCADE GAME

The refinements of dot chomping lead to high scores as hungry Pac-Man avoids ambush by coracious goblins. When Pac-Man gulps an energy dot, he can turn the tables and eat everything in sight... that includes yummy bonus nuggets, sending scores into the thousands. But goblins won't allow themselves to be gobbled for long; and soon become their old selves, fast and sneaky, to try to put an end to Pac-Man's three lives.

Castle Adventure  author;Keypunch Software1984Also released by Keypunch Software in 1987 in the compilation "Swords and Sorcery" under the title "The Golden Wombat".***This is an enjoyable game I played on a PCjr as a child. One of the neat things about it was the extra items and treasures to collect. There are multiple solutions Only 5 items are required for the simplest solution to escaping the castle. Killing the monsters is not strictly required and many of the objects do not relate to escaping, their just for the high score. It is quite simular to Atari Adventure, but more complex in all aspects plus the added text parser. Three parser commands are all that's required for the simplest escape. Finding all the items will require considerable more typing. There is also an item in the game that tells how to escape, easy. Its nice that beating the game is easy, for less skilled players yet getting a high score is more challenging. Obviously, this was the intent of the author.
[Zerothis]***This is a text plus graphical adventure in text-only mode. Movement is performed with the arrow keys and combat is in real-time. But text descriptions appear at the bottom on the screen and the player can use a text parser for more detailed interaction with objects and characters or to use a more complex solution that the arrow keys can provide. While the goal is to escape the 83 room castle using 12 objects found therein. 8 enemies and two locked doors will hinder progress. Players may opt to find some or all of the 13 treasures to achieve a higher score. 1550 is the highest score possible.

This game was developed and published as Shareware by Kevin Bales. He used the term Freeware and asked for a suggested $10 if someone enjoyed or used the game. Keypunch Software illegally included this game in their Swords and Sorcery collection as Golden Wombat. The game is written in Microsoft BASIC and compiled.
[Zerothis]***You are trapped in a deserted Castle and you must escape. It is rumored that the castle is full of treasures. Can you find them all?

Championship Lode Runner Brøderbund1984CHAMPIONSHIP LODE RUNNER by Doug Smith
▶ The world's 50 most challenging levels.
▶ Special screen titles for each completed level.
▶ Chance to earn a special Lode Runner Champion certificate.

"So you thought you could retire to a peaceful life in the country after your last lode-running adventure, eh? Well, forget it, Ace. You just unretired. We need you. Your planet needs you. And we know you can't resist a good challenge.

"You know all that stolen gold you recovered from the Bungeling Empire? Bad news. They've stolen it back and stashed it away in 50 of the most elaborate, complex, heavily defended Treasury Chambers you'll ever encounter. The Empire has enormous respect for your lode-running abilities, and they've taken great pains to make sure you don't embarrass them again.

"It's your job to find every last ingot of stolen gold, to prevent the Empire from financing their cruel scheme for galactic conquest. Only a Galactic Commando of your incredible skill and experience could even dare attempt such a mission.

"Merciless Bungeling guards will stalk you, surround you, relentlessly hunt you down through fiendishly tricky labyrinths. Blind alleys and dead ends confront you at every turn. Bottomless pits wait to swallow you up. It's not a pretty sight.

"Piece of cake, you say?

"Well perhaps we should tell you: The Bungeling engineer who designed these chilling chambers went in for a little test run...and never came out.

"We don't really expect you to succeed, either. But we know you're going to try.

"Isn't that right, Ace?"
