Shoot the invading aliens and occasional UFO for points. Hide behind the destructible shields or fire through them. Aliens reverse direction and advance downward after reaching the edge of the screen.
This is a clone of Atari 2600 Space Invaders (not Arcade Space Invaders). It's got all the same difficulty settings and options, the same 6 columns of aliens that speedup based on home many are left, the same UFO, same scoring, and everything is shaped extremely similar to the Atari 2600 version.
