King's Quest was created for the PCjr and Sierra staked the company on it. The PCjr was canceled, but, Tandy cloned the design and King's Quest instead, debuted as a Tandy 1000 pack-in game specifically designed for Tandy's 16 color graphics and 3 voice sound. This entry is about the later MS-DOS specific version with additional sound and graphics options. Eventually there was a VGA patch. There was a much later DOS remake with another engine.
