About Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!

The Japanese version originally featured Super Macho Man. Only the USA version featured Mike Tyson. Shortly after release, Tyson's popularity began growing in Japan so the original Japanese version was discontinued and the Japanese market also got Mike Tyson's Punch-out!!. The early Japanese version without Tyson is a distinctive gold color.
