Description

CX-52xx (no product number). North America NTSC. 1 player only.
This 85% complete prototype is a videogame twist the Freling Door Chase Gag involving Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, and The Devil (Taz). Bugs bunny must close all the doors in a 5 story hotel. Elevators allow Bugs to move between floors, other characters simple walk off screen on one floor and on screen on another. Some doors start out closed and might have a bomb, carrot, an empty room or Taz behind them. Bugs can hide behind a door if the room is empty. He can grab a bomb if he's quick, and use it later. Eating a carrot allows him, for a short time, to stun his enemies by touching them. Yosemite Sam wonders throughout the hotel opening doors and rolling bombs at Bugs. Again, if he's quick these bombs can be captured and tossed back or hidden in an empty room as a nasty surprise for Sam or Elmer (Taz simply avoids bombs or eats them without penalty). Bugs will be stunned if touched by Sam, Elmer or Taz. Elmer Fudd also wanders around opening doors while sleepwalking (in higher levels, sleeprunning). An finally, The Tasmanian Devil is behind a door waiting to be unleashed on everyone. The game would have needed some graphic polishing, difficulty tweaking and perhaps enemies would have been given the ability to use the elevators and door-teleporting before this game was published.
