Description

CX-5256. North America NTSC. 1 player only. Was originally titled "The Legacy". A ready for release prototype cartridge from 1984 of this game was found in 1998. Much like the Atari 8-bit version, this game is a mix of strategy and action, all in real-time. Differences are English text throughout the game instead of the icons used in the computer version. Also, the computer version had a left/right handed option. The player moves his ships around the world refueling at friendly cities. At any time the player may be called upon to battle the enemy with water torpedoes, sea to land artillery or sea to air missiles. Each type of battle is an action game and battles continue no matter which mode the player is currently in.
