6 de 10***Don't Starve Together is a standalone multiplayer expansion of the uncompromising wilderness survival game, Don't Starve.

Legend of the Green Dragon  -2003Made public at SourceForge on 2003-03-16 05:15.
Legend of the Green Dragon(LotGD) is a game with original content although inspired by the BBS game, Legend of the Red Dragon([game=#159190]LoRD[/game]). It is written in PHP/MySQL for internet servers. It is an OpenSource project with, as of 2006-09-15, over 180 add-in modules are available. In addition, server admins often add custom tweeks and layouts so that no two servers have the exact same game to play.
Though originally FOSS, the license for the pre-release code was changed to Creative Commons 2.0 BY-NC-SA ("NC" is not FOSS compliant). Released code remains FOSS.

[Zerothis]***DragonPrime.net is apparently the only source for the game sources (now since they moved away from SF.net in 2005), and it requires account registration to get them (if even then), so the FOSS status is rather questionable. I didn't bother registering just to see it for certain.

Prey 2K Games (Human Head Studios;Venom Games)2006Prey tells the story of Tommy, a Cherokee garage mechanic stuck on a reservation going nowhere. His life changes when an otherworldly crisis forces him to awaken spiritual powers from his long-forgotten birthright. Abducted along with his people to a menacing mothership orbiting Earth, he sets out to save himself and his girlfriend and eventually his planet. Prey is serious, dark story, based on authentic Cherokee mythology. Themes of sacrifice, love and responsibility are explored and the story dives into emotional territory not yet explored by similar games.

Tommy is a down-on-his-luck garage mechanic, stuck in the middle on who-knows-where on some forgotten reservation, where Native Americans are tucked away out of sight, out of mind.

And then the unthinkable happens! Earth becomes prey to the galaxy's largest predator, a space bound Texas-sized alien that's looking to satiate its hunger with the organic goodness that most populates Earth: Us. And the first course is a certain forgotten reservation.

A Spiritual Awakening

Tommy and his girlfriend have become prey, his grandfather killed, and hundreds of his tribal nation have been abducted through space-warping portals. Freeing himself, all Tommy cares about is saving Jenny. But the spirit of his grandfather beckons him to embrace his heritage, accept the ancient teachings, and prepare to battle the menace that threatens to destroy all the planet's
life. It's a choice between love and responsibility. It's a choice that cannot be made easily.

Innovative Gameplay

* Built on an enhanced Doom 3 engine, the most impressive 3D engine used in a released game.
* Portal technology adds a new dimension to gameplay, allowing enemies to appear out of thin air and create new and completely original puzzles and gameplay styles.
* Several never-before-seen gameplay elements such as Spirit Walking, Wall Walking, and Deathwalk.
* Highly organic, living environment that itself can attack Tommy.
* Tommy has a sidekick, a spiritual hawk that can help him fight enemies and decipher the alien language of the living ship.
* Multiplayer game support that takes advantage of the unique gameplay styles in Prey.

Sacrifice  Interplay (Shiny Entertainment)20002009-08-19 on Steam, by Interplay (lang: eng, fre, ita, spa, ger)***Some may notice that Charnel is depicted on the game boxes, but in one of the boxes the character facing away is actually one of James' champions instead of the protagonist of the story, Eldred.***resource harvesting — conquering the mana fountains as without them your spell casting is slowed down, and harvesting the souls of the dead.
non-human — although superficially humanoid and even human, closer examination reveals features definitely not part of human physiology. Also, there doesn't seem to be any mention of humans.
anti-hero protagonist — not very obvious, but he wages the war of the gods simply to bide his time and gather strength for his own purposes, regardless of the God he has chosen to serve. Also in the backstory that he relates to Mithras.
adv-deeds — these "deeds" are not revealed until you actually complete them and the rewards are given at the end of each mission. Since they're optional and the rewards depends on the mission, these may or may not make the late game easier.***Comes on single CD which can be used to install unlimited number of multiplayer-only "spawns" and singular single-player installation (though I didn't see anything that would limit even that).***The game may fail to start up if you have total swap file size much larger than 2 GiB, although it may in truth require the total memory (physical and swap) be less than 4 GiB. The Creator, God of the Fyllid, has been defeated and the faith of the people has begun to wane. Pretty squabbles among the five remaining Gods has caused the land to split into five mystical territories - each at war with one another. Into this divided land steps a wizard, a man haunted by his past, whose choices will shape the future. Which God will he choose? Will he sacrifice himself to change this world for the better, or will what remains of this world be sacrificed fo one God's glory?
