Software concept

Uses hit-boxes to determine if something hits something or not rather than actual model surfaces. These are used to reduce the amount of calculations needed to determine if something hits something and where.

Mostly of interest when there's only one hit-box per entity as with larger number of hitboxes it becomes less easy to notice it during gameplay and therefore of lesser interest to anyone.
