This movement features a very difficult trumpet part probably intended for Johann Ludwig Schreiber who was the court trumpeter in Cöthen. Going by Bach's habit of creating difficult trumpet parts for Schreiber, It can be supposed that he was very good. Or, Bach had some sort of a grudge against him:)
