An interactive fiction. Part of Infocom's Enchanter Series.

"Zork IV" was the working title of this game. It was referred to in Zork III. At some point Infocom decided Enchanter would not be the official Zork IV and the first in the 2nd Zork Trilogy, but be the first in a standalone trilogy. However, it still seems to be set in the same universe as Zork. Only one minor detail, there are no grues in Enchanter.
