Description

Aaaanyway...undaunted by the bad publicity, Exidy releases a nominal sequel to Death Race in 1977, called Super Death Chase, which curtails the charges of promoting violence by having the victims already dead; the player chases ghosts and skeletons around the playfield with his vehicle.

Drive a car over animated stick gremlins and score points. Gremlins that have been run over will scream and a cross will appear where they died. Two players compete against each other at the same time.

The game was shown at the 1977 AMOA show, but apparently never made it into full production and only a few units were built.

Comment

Sequel to Death Race that replaced the pedestrians to be run over with zombies. Much as was done to Carmageddon for its sequel.
